Got a new package of drawings in the mail from Cahil and this is one of about fifteen I finished. Just mailed it back and it's funny to think of these landscape drawings traversing the country from SF to NY several times before being finished. Hopefully they're absorbing some of the scapes they're crossing.
Explored around Bernal Heights and came across this amazing fence and thought how I wish I could make paintings that looked like it. Reminded me that the best things come out of not over-working or over-thinking things. So I tested it out by making a painting using 3 cans of spray, a rock, and no more than 7-seconds of effort. Still think the fence takes the cake. Better luck on the next iteration.
